Bathing Beauty

Brian has been trying to rig a contraption that would allow Millie Kate to be able to get in the blow up pool that he bought that is on our back deck(not redneck at all!!) So, he bought a Disney Princess umbrella and somehow attached it to her blow up bath duck with a pool noodle! It is hilarious, but it does protect her from the sun and holds her up so she can float in the pool. He was so excited and proud of his work!

Millie Kate is 2 months old!

It's so hard to believe that Millie Kate is already 2 months old. She's growing and changing so fast. She has started smiling, laughing, and cooing. She loves to cuddle and fall asleep on our chests and she really likes bath time. She just chills in her little tub and dangles her foot in the water. She is still eating about every 2 1/2 hours and she usually wakes up twice during the night. She is still sleeping in her bassinet, but that is mainly because mommy isn't ready to put her in her crib yet. She is such a laid back baby and we're just having so much fun with her! She really is a bundle of joy!

Father's Day

Millie Kate is so lucky to have such a wonderful Daddy! When he gets home from work, the first thing he does is wash his hands so he can hold his baby. He loves to just stare at her and watch her wake up or make her silly faces. She truley is Daddy's girl, besides the fact that she looks just like him! It's so much fun to watch them together! Saturday night we went to Brian's dad's for dinner. Sunday we started the day at church and then went to my Aunt's for lunch. Part of Brian's Father's Day gift was tickets to the Styx concert, so that night we went to the concert with the Grelecki's and the Jones'. It was a great way to end a great day!

First Art Project

Millie Kate wanted to make something special for her Daddy for Father's Day. So Kanga came over to help with Millie Kate's first art project! She wasn't very excited about the paint being on her foot, so we had to wait till she fell asleep to finish the project. We think it turned out pretty cute for her first time! And of course her Daddy loved it!

Meeting Wade!

Millie Kate met Wade for the first time on June 17th at a Low Country Boil at church! Wade was so cute and kept wanting to "caress" Millie Kate's face!

Gray Family Reunion

On June 13th Millie Kate went on another trip, this time to North Carolina for a family reunion. It was fun to have her meet a bunch of Brian's cousins and Aunts and Uncles. The weather was great in Asheville and we had a wonderful time!

There wasn't enough room in the double bed for the co-sleeper we brought, so Millie Kate ended up sleeping in the laundry basket!!! She loved it and slept 7 hours without waking up!!

First Playdate with all the Girls!

My 3 close friends, Katie, Katie, and Tiffanie and I were all pregnant at the same time all due within months of each other. It was exciting enough to all be pregnant at the same time, but it was even more exciting when we found out we were all having girls! We had been dreaming about the day when we would get them together for the first time. We finally were able to do that on June 8th and it was so much fun!! All the girls are so precious and we know they will be lifelong friends.

Papa Bear's Birthday

June 6th was my dad's 62nd birthday so we went over there for a cook out and some cake and ice cream. It was fun celebrating my dad with family and Millie Kate was able spend some quality time with her Papa Bear!

First Play Date

Millie Kate had her very first play date on June 5th with Ansley Estle. We put them in matching onsies and took tons of pictures of them just laying there and squirming around. Ansley and Millie Kate are exactly 2 months apart!!! It is the beginning of a beautiful friendship!

First Trip!!

Millie Kate went on her first trip to TN on May 29th, to surprise Wendi for her 30th birthday! Wendi was so surprised and excited to see us, especially Millie Kate! Millie Kate got to meet a lot of special people for the first time and even got to go to Hibachi for the first time.

On our way home, we stopped in Murfreesboro so Millie Kate could see where mommy went to school. She was so excited she couldn't contain herself! She can't wait to go back this Fall for a football game!
