After we got Millie Kate's tree trimmed, it was time to do the big tree. Decorating the tree is one of my favorite Christmas things to do, although I don't enjoy putting the lights on. I have so many special ornaments and I love looking at them and remembering who gave them to me and when. Brian and I have also collected a lot of ornaments over the past 4 1/2 years, we try to get one from every new place we go. I love ornaments and look forward to building Millie Kate's collection.

Trimming the Trees
After we got the tree home we wanted to decorate it right away since we already had the rest of the house decorated! First we decorated Millie Kate's Disney Princess tree that Brian bought for her last year after we found out we were having a girl. I know it's a little tacky but it's still fun that she has her very own Christmas tree.

Picking the Tree
We ordered our Tree from Church again this year, and although I really like our tree, I don't think we'll be doing that again. I really miss going to a Christmas Tree Farm and cutting it down ourselves. We decided not to do it this year because MK is so little, oh and did I mention we have to go to North Carolina to cut them down because my husband is a Christmas Tree snob and will only have Fraser Firs? But even though we didn't cut it down, it was still fun picking out our tree and then we went to the brunch the church held. It was a great start to the Christmas Season!

Thanksgiving
This Thanksgiving was an extra special one and we had even more to be thankful for! I am so thankful for my wonderful and loving husband who works so hard so that I can stay home with Millie Kate. He not only works over 40 hours a week, but sometimes he comes home to a messy house, has to cook dinner, clean dishes, do his own laundry, or clean the house! Some days he does it all. And with all of that he still finds time to play with Millie Kate and give her all his love. He's amazing!!! And it goes without saying that I am truly thankful for the newest blessing in our lives, Miss Millie Kate! I thank God everyday for such a happy and healthy little girl. She is every dream come true and I can't imagine my life without her! I am also very Thankful for our supportive families and all our wonderful friends. I am so very blessed!
