Ryan's Belated Birthday Celebration

Ryan Grelecki's birthday was on the 24th and they were in Savannah celebrating Grandma and Poppy's anniversary so we had to celebrate the birth of Ryan the next weekend. We had a great time just hanging out with the babies, watching Parker walk the furthest he ever had and watching the Miss America Pageant. We made a game out the pageant and the losers had to take a shot of whatever concoction the winner came up with. Well, of course the winner was Ryan and the concoction was disgusting! Apparently I didn't get any pictures of the birthday boy, sorry Ryan. And Parker left early to go to his grandparent's house, so I don't have many of him either.

Millie Kate fell asleep on her daddy. She never does that anymore and it was so precious. We later found out that she had a fever due to her flu vaccine that she got the day before

This is the After shot picture. I think this shot had olive juice, honey mustard, bbq sauce, hot sauce, and some other nasty stuff in it. To be honest, I only took a tiny sip. I knew I'd throw up if I drank the whole thing!

9 month check-up

Millie Kate had a good 9 month check-up. She weighs 17 lbs and is 26 3/4 inches long. That's 25% for both. Her weight gain seemed to have slowed down a bit, but the Dr. said it's probably cause she's moving around more now and isn't too worried about it. She passed her vision test and did great when she got her two shots!

Millie Kate has changed so much in the last month, it's amazing! She started crawling, pulling up, cruising, giving kisses, doing "soooo big", waving, shaking her head, and she got two new teeth. It's so much fun to watch her do all her new tricks! She is crawling every where and really loves bathrooms for some reason. And she's pulling up on everything now. She gets better at it every day and she started cruising within the last few days. She's not moving from furniture to furniture, but she moves down the coffee table to try to get everything she's not suppose to have like phones, controls, and cameras. Nursing is still going well. She had been biting, but that seems to have stopped for now. I still enjoy it and am going to be really sad when that relationship is over. There are few things in life as sweet as nursing her before bed and looking into those beautiful blue eyes as she's twirling her little blond hair. She takes my breath away!

Toothy Grin

We are up to 4 teeth, 2 on bottom and now 2 on top. I think there is a 5th one not far behind. Millie Kate is handling teething really well. She wakes up crying a couple of times during the night, but is able to put herself back to sleep and she's not too cranky during the day. She of course wants to put everything in her mouth and she has started grinding her teeth, which I'm going to ask a dentist about because it's really annoying. I love seeing those pearly whites, they are just so darn cute!

Millie Kate loves crawling under the coffee table and just sitting there. She'll sit there for like 3 minutes(which is a long time in baby world) doing nothing but sitting. It's like her own special place. It's so cute!

Finally, some nice weather!

The high was finally above freezing and the sun was out, so we took advantage of it and met our good friends, the Estle girls, at the park for some much needed fun in the sun!

A Wonderful Wednesday

Just one of the many fun days that Millie Kate and I have being at home together! I think playing with her toys is more fun for me than it is for her! :)
