3 months of Millie Kate

Millie Kate turned 3 months old today! It's so hard to believe. She has changed so much in the last few weeks. She's smiling all the time, laughing out loud, cooing non-stop, blowing bubbles, pushing up on her arms, and she's starting to sit up better when she's supported. I think she's going to be a thumb sucker(which is fine with me) because every time she's on her tummy she finds it and then falls asleep. It's so cute! Last night was her first night in her crib and she did awesome! She slept from 8:00 till 1:30 and then woke up again at 5:00. At 7:00, Brian went in and got her and brought her into bed with us. It's just too hard to be away from her for that long! She's such an easy and laid back baby and we're having so much fun with her. Everyday is different and wonderful. It's hard to remember life before her.

Last Friday night we went to an Elvis Tribute concert in Norcross with the Estles. For those of you that don't know, Brian is the biggest Elvis fan I've ever known. He has practically every song he's ever recorded, movies, posters, records, Christmas ornaments, and his prized position, the Christmas Village "Graceland". He looks forward to getting it out every year and he displays it proudly. He even buys fake snow for it and builds a drive way out of potting soil for the pink Cadillac to sit on. Anyway, Brian found out that there was going to be a tribute concert, so we had to go check it out. Millie Kate was able to wear her Elvis onesie that Brian's cousin, Melissa, bought for her before she was even born! It was perfect!! The weather was wonderful and cool so we took subs and had a picnic dinner there in the park. It was such a fun night!

The most exciting part of the night was that Millie Kate pushed herself up on her arms for the very first time!! I think watching Ansley do it was her inspiration! She is growing so fast, it's amazing!

Social Butterfly

Millie Kate has been so busy lately having fun with friends! In the last week and a half, we've had dinner with Abbie and Ansley, playtime with Parker, went to the park with Wade, and had a playdate with Taylor!! Aunt Stephanie even came into town for her birthday and Millie Kate got in some good snuggle time with her! It was a very exciting week!

Special Visitors

Last week, Wendi and her kids came down from TN for a nice visit. It was great since she was able to come down during the week and didn't have to rush back for work or anything. We went to the park twice, Chuck E Cheese, and American Girl! All firsts for Millie Kate. They played in the pool and were even able to pull Brian in with them with all his clothes on! Wendi was able to get a lot of snuggle time in with Millie Kate too! Katie and Mason are so cute and funny and very sweet to Millie Kate. She's going to love playing with them when she gets older. I just wished we lived closer together. 4 hours is way too far! We're so glad they came!!

Millie Kate's first time at the American Girl store. She slept through most of it, but I know she loved what she did see and can't wait to go back!

4th of July weekend

4th of July, we went to Lake Martin in Alabama and stayed with the Magnus' at their condo. It is such a nice condo and a beautiful lake. We had a great time with family and Millie Kate got to meet Uncle Mack, swim in a real pool, and ride on a boat for the first time! Brian even had a first, which was riding the jet ski! It was nice to be able to spend time with my sister, lay out on the dock and float in the lake! Thanks to the Magnus family for inviting us to spend the weekend with them!!
