Look at Me!

I went in to check on Millie Kate while she was napping and to my surprise, this is what I found!

Winter Wonderland

At least it was for Georgia! It didn't compare to the snow she saw in Richmond, but we had to get her out in it for some pictures anyway, what little bit there was.

Me and my Dolly

Millie Kate loves the new doll that Santa brought her for Christmas and it just so happens that they have similar outfits!

Sooo Big

One morning she just started putting her arms up over her head and we started saying "soooo big" and now she does it all the time! It's so cute. I'm loving all her new tricks!

into it all

Now that Millie Kate is mobile, she is of course into everything. No surprise that's all the stuff we don't want her to be into. She is attracted to the dog bowl, shoes, any speck of dirt on the floor, the fireplace, cords of any kind, and one of her favorites...these baskets!

Apples

For some reason my child loves to gnaw on apples! She saw my mom with one a couple of weeks ago and got so excited even though she had never had one before. When we tried to take it away from her, she threw her first fit! So, my mom ended up having to share her apple with Millie Kate. Well, the other day my parents were over and my mom walked into the room with an apple and Millie Kate started bouncing up and down and immediately reached for it! My poor mom lost another apple. I guess we just can't eat apples around MK unless we don't mind having baby slobber on them!

And we're off!

Crazy Hair

She doesn't have a lot of it, but when it gets messy it's pretty funny!

Greens and Peas

New Year's day, we went over to Brian's cousin, Cheri's, for collard greens and black eyed peas. It was so yummy and hopefully it will bring us good luck in the new year!

New Year's Eve

Our New Year's sure have changed!! We had a busy day, but a fun day. First we headed over to the Moore's House. Sarah and her new baby, Sally were in town and we wanted to meet Sally Jane. Sarah and I were best friends in elementary school and have stayed in touch through the years. After leaving the Moore's we headed over to the Barham's to see Bobby and Casey, the little boys I use to nanny for. Although they're not so little anymore!! They love babies and are so cute with Millie Kate. Then we stopped by Kanga and Papa Bear's and we finally ended the day over at the Grelecki's. It was a very low key night of babies, football, and trying to stay awake to watch the Peach drop. It was the perfect way to welcome in the new year!
