Millie Kate's Baptism was such a special day for us. She was able to wear the gown that my Great Aunt hand sewed and my aunt, my mom, my cousins, me, and my sister all wore this gown when we were baptised. My mom had it restored and it turned out beautifully. We chose this weekend for a couple of reasons. First it was Brian's birthday weekend, it is also the same weekend that Brian joined the church 4 years ago so we thought it would be a great weekend for Millie Kate to be Baptised. She did so good during the Baptism and didn't make a sound. So many of our friends and family were there and came down front with us and at one point I looked around and saw all these people that love us and love our daughter and it brought tears to my eyes and made my heart leap. It was such an amazing moment. Afterwards, we all went back to my parent's house for a nice luncheon and to celebrate the amazing gift that Millie Kate received!
